I had a lovely stay at the Hotel Sorriso. The staff were really helpful and friendly which made my trip really memorable. When my watch fell down the sink, one of the staff kindly retrieved it for me so I was very happy about that. If I do go back to Numana then I would most definitely like to stay here. It is only a stone's throw away from the beach and I thought that it offered excellent value for money.

The hotel was clean, most of the staff were smiley and plesent. The location to the beach was good.breakfast good. Nummanna was beutiful.
To start this is not an easy place to get to. You have to get to the ancona train station and then get the only bus to nummanna which is every 2 hour. We only knew to do this as we emailed the hotel. The bus had no place apart from the shelf above your head to put your luggage. Im a 5ft pertite woman, there was noway I was gonna get my 15kg suitcase up there, so set it on seat next to me. Bad idea- a local woman sat across the isle from me a few stops later badmouthed me and handgesterd towards me as she didnt get to sit next to her friend. I understood this with my littel italian.Nobody in Numana spoke any english. We left our dictionary in Rome and really struggled. We waited 20 mins for someone to come to reception, walked past these 2 guys in the garden area having a drink a few times searching for someone and eventualy one of them got up and booked us in. The hotel boasts a private beach, this is not the case. The beach is 5 min walk across a road and you have to pay 12 euros each to use the sun loungers like anyone else could. To me a private beach means its all free to the guests of the hotel. We only found one restaurant that had a menue which translated into english which turned out to be amazing but it was a 15 min walk from hotel towards marcelli. We ate there every night. We found the locals very hostile towards us. One woman in the village was reading her newspaper outside her house and actulaly put her paper down to give us a dirty look. Such a shame as nummana is beutiful and nice beach, just the people were to rude! Not what I expected from italians at all.

Spent Xmas at this hotel and we had a blast. The first thing that caught our attention was the location, just a 5-minute walk to the beach. They also provided umbrellas and lounge chairs without extra charge which was a great perk. The staff was super friendly and always eager to help. The breakfast was decent, with a variety of options to choose from. The fact that we didn't have to worry about parking was a lifesaver. Free and easy parking just in front of the hotel.
The rooms were a bit old-fashioned and could use some updating. , the shower was small and uncomfortable to use.

The hotel met all our requirements. Great location where the village with all its facilities met the beach. A good clean private beach with a discount on the sun loungers etc. Never a problem reserving them, even in high season. Good nearby fish restaurants (with 10% + discount) and bars.
Slightly noisy with banging of doors and sound reverberating through the building. Probably caused by marble rather than carpeted stairs and corridors. Not given a room with a reasonable balcony even though we had a 7 night booking.

The hotel is located in the heart of the city, with easy transport access from Ancona airport. It is just a short walk from the sea and surrounded by various eateries. The staff at the hotel are friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home during our stay. Additionally, the breakfast spread was delicious, providing a good start to our day.
Couldn't stay longer.

This hotel's location is a dream for budget travellers who love the beach. the hotel is right in front of the beach, which means it is close to eateries, has stunning sea views and offers umbrellas and chairs for the beach. the bedrooms are spacious with some having balconies that also overlook the sea. Receptions are helpful and speak English.
Guests need to be aware of the potential inconvenience of parking in this area, but it's not unique to this hotel.

the room was comfortable and we enjoyed having access and privacy to the outside.
other than the problems with the key, we are thinking of returning for a short break in Rome later in the year, but need to ascertain how easy it would be toget into the centtre of Rome from the hotel.
